New Apple IPAD, Getting it right?

Well, the Apple Ipad is finally out.

It looks like Apple listened to its customers and designed a product that looks good and feels great in the hand, and offering an almost10 inch screen for viewing. What’s so awesome is that the iPad whizzes along, opening applications, re-sizing web pages, and zooming in and out of maps almost instantaneously.

The developers had fun turning it into a great, fun platform, and you don’t have to strain your eyes. As you can view full-size web pages while browsing the internet.

Among the apps available at launch are Twitterific, a Twitter client for the iPad; productivity app Bento; addictive game Flight Control; and optimized news apps from AP and Reuters, 40 per cent of the apps being developed for the iPad are games.

Some of the basic features are:

9.7-inch IPS touch screen, Apple A4 1GHz processor, 16GB internal flash storage, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR, 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone

Cheap IPAD?  Not yet, but prices generally go down after a period of time.  Another choice would be to get a used Ipad, and as long as you have the warranty, you'll be fine.

Many are saying that the IPAD will replace the laptop, but the only way that would happen would be if you don’t have a laptop, or you have one for business. Now the IPad is fast, and it has good resolution, unless you’re using it out doors. The screen is almost impossible to see in bright daylight.

After using the IPad for about thirty minutes, you realize that it’s heavier that what you would think, but even though it’s not bulky, it’s just not balanced enough. It’s awkward to carry, so you’ll have to weight the pros versus the Cons.

Now if you’re into gaming, or want to be, the Ipad's A4 chip and larger screen size should only help it in this arena. I read that the games developers were swarming over the IPad Salivating over the potential that the IPAD will give to them

The IPAD’s strength, Apps, Ipad's games, and other Ipad's software fits in perfectly with the speed and simplicity of browsing the web.

The interaction between you, the user, and content shows the strength of this application. When you browse the internet, one of the items you may miss is that there is no flash or Flash Advertising with “Mobile Safari”

The speed of the device is amazing for a low power portable device, and the Video playback is fast too.

All of this requires power, and the developers developed a longer lasting battery that can easily hit ten hours. Now you won’t be able to charge it through your computer without taking a ton of time, and if you charge it in your vehicle, the wiring in your vehicle may get very hot. You’ll get the idea when you see the wall adapter, it’s definitely bigger that the previous version.

Is the IPAD worth it? Steve Jobs certainly thought so, and the speed that the Ipads jumped off the shelf certainly justified his position.

I’d recommend the 32 g, because you’ll have so much fun downloading music, videos, and pictures that you may very well go over the basic 16G.
For the music lovers, the sound is great, and there’s even an equalizer for tweaking the sound output to your liking. And the music keeps playing after you close the app so you can have the tunes playing while doing other things (but it will stop when you hit something else that takes over multimedia like a video or some other sound thing from an email of course).

So for a first revision, it's a grand slam out of the park hit.

In summary, the IPAD is ideal if you don’t want another tablet PC, or a full sized desktop computer. This product fills the need between a cell phone and a computer, and also allows reading, games, instant messaging, viewing pictures or video, or checks your email.
